The New Year's show of Global Dance Centre Rotterdam “DREAMS” will take place on Saturday, January 27. It promises to be a breathtaking show in which dance, music and dreams come together. The show takes place in Theater Zuidplein. Everybody can participate.
“DREAMS”
In this show, dreams come true. A show about willpower and continuing to follow your dreams. Nothing is impossible if you believe in it and dare to work hard for it. DREAMS takes you into a world of splendor, excitement and hope.
Contribution
The personal contribution for participation in this show is €15, - + optional €5, - if participants want to participate in the pieces by the guest choreographers. The personal contribution is used for, among other things, production costs and the rent of the theater. Participation is possible for all members and all levels by registering via the registration form at the counter. The deadline for registration and payment is Monday, October 23, 2023. Please note! Participation is only possible with an active subscription or valid ten-class card.
Show preparation
Rehearsals start in October 2023.
To ensure that the preparations run smoothly, we appoint a coordinator who manages all matters surrounding the show. In addition to our regular front desk employees as points of contact, you can contact the coordinator by email for any questions you have about the New Year's show via events@globaldancecentre.nl

Please note, the dress rehearsal takes place at the Rotterdam location and is mandatory for all participants.

The show takes place in the Schouwburg Amstelveen. Participation is possible for members aged 4 to 17 and all levels.

GDC Rotterdam x Afrodance
Afrodance choreographer Aron Norbert will be teaching at GDC Rotterdam. Aron's dances are guaranteed to go viral on TikTok, so join the fun!

GDC Amsterdam x Heels Class
Get your heels out of the shoe closet and don't be shy, because our new teacher Anastasia gives weekly heels classes for beginners and advanced students. Do you also want to follow heels at the Rotterdam location? Then try Inna's lessons.
GDC Rotterdam x Hip Hop
Are you into cool Hip Hop? Then we recommend the lessons of our new teacher Kasper Vermorken.
GDC Amsterdam x Ballet
Yes! Now also ballet classes for ages 12 and older. Our regular teacher Amanda Carter returns to GDC Amsterdam in the new season. Her classes are part of the Global Dance Centre's preparatory program.

GDC Rotterdam x Stage Performance
You can’t miss Armin Jafari, dancer and assistant choreographer of artist Sigourney K, his weekly open class. His style can be described as everything you need to be on stage. Just returned from America, where he trained intensively with dancers from Chris Brown and Beyoncé, among others.
GDC Amsterdam x Preparatory Program
The preparatory program of Global Dance Centre x MUMEGO is for driven talents who want to get acquainted with the entertainment industry in an accessible way. GDC Amsterdam x General Dance Education lessons
We also have lessons for ages 4 to 6, because you can't start dance lessons early enough. In the General Dance Education lessons, children learn to dance in a playful way.
GDC Rotterdam x Commercial Groove
Lody van Naerssen's lessons contain all the ingredients you need to learn to dance from your feeling. With his love for music from the 90s, his lessons remain challenging and surprising.
GDC Amsterdam x Saturday classes
Saturday programming has never been so extensive. From 09:30 in the morning to 18:00 in the evening you can dance in various dance styles and at all levels.
Global Dance Centre x New youth classes
In the Amsterdam and Rotterdam locations, we have focused on more classes for children.
New youth teachers such as: Jaimy Mendes, Rioney Pisarahu, Charnell Etnel, Luciano de Almeida Meijer, Andrew Berg, Romaysa Dejong and Dieudonnée Slot are preparing to develop talent in the new season, with pleasure in first place.
